  • Mark Sheppard - Chairman

    Mark is a fully licensed Pest Management Operator and Fumigator (Licence No. 3258), a qualified Certificate IV Workplace Trainer and Assessor and has achieved competency in all units of the Asset Maintenance - Pest Management Training Package. Mark is also qualified as a Lead Auditor in Quality Management Systems.

    Prior to Mark’s involvement in the pest management industry, Mark was employed in various roles, gaining extensive experience in senior management, business development, national operations development and international business negotiations for over 25 years.

    Marks expertise is based on the servicing and implementation of systems in commercial business, servicing of major corporate accounts, marketing and business development.

  • Fiona Sheppard - Secretary

    Fiona is an experienced Director with a demonstrated history of working in the education management industry. Skilled in Negotiation, Business Planning, Coaching, Strategic Planning, and Business Development, she is a strong professional with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Edith Cowan University. Fiona completed major studies in Marketing and was awarded for achieving the highest score in Business Strategy for her graduating year.

    Fiona holds a Diploma of Teaching Dip.Ed (Primary). She is a Registered Teacher (TRBWA Reg No. 33117296) and Workplace Trainer and Assessor. Fiona is qualified as a Lead Auditor in Quality Management Systems. Fiona is a fully licensed Pest Management Operator and Fumigator (Licence No. 9422). Fiona manages quality of training and communication to ensure they meet the standards set by the Australian Quality Training Framework.

  • Matt Stein - Treasurer

    Matthew is the General Manager and Vice President of TriCal Australia, where he leads the team as they strive “To be the best fumigation company ever”.

    Matthew started his career in Oil and Gas, then moving to Facility Management and Defense before finding his passion in the most unexpected of places - the Fumigation industry - some 10 years ago.

    With his team, the business has enjoyed steady grow from 8 to 34 staff, and were recognised by the industry for their research and development work, winning the National AusVeg Awards for Excellence as the Researcher of the year in 2017.

    He is an Industry Leaders Fund past Scholar, and graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

    Outside work, you are most likely to find Matt traveling with his wife and kids, at a Crows game, or reveling at the Beer and BBQ festival with his mates.

  • Dr Jonathan Banks

    Dr Jonathan Banks, now a consultant, is a former CSIRO research scientist and founder member of the CSIRO Stored Grain Research Laboratory. He specialised in the science and technology of the use of gases, Fumigants and Controlled Atmospheres, for protection of stored products and grain, particularly against insect infestation.

    With CSIRO colleagues, he initiated the SGRL ‘new fumigants’ R&D program and, collaboratively with the Australian bulk handling industry, developed and tested sealing systems for large grain stores and bunkers. This allowed effective containment of fumigants and CAs.

    He is a veteran of numerous training courses, both within Australia and international and as both trainee and trainer. As yet, unfit to be licenced as a fumigator – bearded.

  • Jane Beardwell

    Business & WHS Manager, Draslovka Agricultural Solutions

    Jane Beardwell brings a fresh perspective to the fumigation industry, transitioning from a successful background in event management to become a key figure at Draslovka Agricultural Solutions. The epitome of an all-rounder and responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of Draslovka Services Australia and New Zealand from a business management perspective, Jane is responsible for licensing, compliance, team management, human resources, and work health & safety.

  • David Marrs

    Business Development Manager – APAC Region, Douglas Products

    David has had vast experience in Business Management, Operation and Sales within the pest control and Fumigation Markets from both the residential and commercial perspectives.

    David is based in Brisbane, Queensland. David’s role covers distribution network and end users of ProFume Gas Fumigant across the region.

    David obtained a Master of Business Administration at James Cook University and brings more than 34 years’ experience in sales, operations management as well as current market knowledge in pest control and fumigation. David held a variety of positions within Rentokil, before joining Syngenta as their Senior Sales Manager for the Australian and New Zealand Pest Control Market.

    David has had vast experience in Business Management, Operation and Sales within the pest control and Fumigation Markets from both the residential and commercial perspectives. David has had direct dealings with local, national, and global pest control and fumigation sales.
